Photo Storage
You will likely need to get your photos put on a CD first in order to upload them from an internet cafe (easily done at local photo stores or equipped internet cafes). During my trip to Africa in 2005 I found this was difficult as I did not bring a card reader or my USB cable for my camera so I was reliant on other travelers who had laptops and who used the same memory card as I had. I suspect that the ability to download photos has improved significantly from then. In every other part of the world downloading photos from my camera or my memory card is both quick and cheap.

Most cafes do not allow you to install any kind of photo uploading software on their computers. I also take a flash drive with me as it can hold up to 1KB or counties. When I was traveling in Africa I should have taken a card reader as it was hard to find an internet cafe that had the capabilities of downloading photos from your camera or card. In Asia every internet cafe provides this service quickly and inexpensively. I often get the down load and the cd for as little as $1.
